Statistics

Crime statistics are kept by both the NOPD and the GDSD patrol. While the NOPD crime information can be viewed on NOPDNews.com, the GDSD statistics may be viewed by clicking on the table below.

The GDSD report attempts to include all criminal activities in the area that are reported to the GDSD. While reports are intended to be as accurate as possible, crimes not reported cannot be listed. Crimes listed in one category may be changed later in order to reflect a more accurate accounting of the incident once reviewed by the NOPD. Therefore, all statistics should be understood as a measure of general crime in the area rather than absolute numbers.
